Understanding the Different Ways Healing Can Unfold

When people first explore Reiki, one of the most common questions I hear is: “What kind of session do I need?” The honest answer is that you do not need to have it all figured out. Healing is not linear, and the body, mind, and energy field often reveal what they are ready to release only once the session begins.

That said, I offer several intent-based treatment focuses to help you choose a direction that feels aligned. Every session I offer is a blend of Usui Reiki and Kundalini-informed energy work, guided intuitively and grounded in presence, safety, and respect for your nervous system. Sessions are available in-person, distance, or virtual, and the energetic effectiveness is the same across all formats. Energy is not limited by space. What matters most is intention, consent, and attunement. Below you will find an explanation of the different treatment types I work with, what they support, and how Reiki helps within each focus.

 

My Approach: Blended Reiki, Guided by the Body’s Wisdom

I do not force energy or follow rigid protocols. Instead, I work with a responsive blend of Usui Reiki and Kundalini-informed flow, allowing energy to move where it is needed most in that moment.

Usui Reiki provides grounding, balance, and stabilization. Kundalini-informed energy brings awareness to deeper stored patterns, emotional memory, and life-force movement. Together, they support a gentle yet powerful release without overwhelming the system. You may come in asking for one focus, and your session may naturally expand into others.

That is not a mistake — it is often a sign that the body feels safe enough to open.


Crystalline Healing

Releasing Stored Trauma and Memory from the Body

Crystalline healing is based on the understanding that unprocessed experiences can become energetically stored in the body over time. These are not literal crystals, but dense energetic formations created when experiences are too intense, too sudden, or too emotionally charged to be fully processed at the time they occurred. This can happen from emotional trauma, prolonged stress, shock, or physical injury.

 

Examples include:
• Emotional wounds that were never expressed
• Accidents or injuries that healed physically but left lingering pain or tension
• Moments of fear, grief, or overwhelm that were suppressed

DNA & Ancestral Healing

DNA healing focuses on both ancestral energetic patterns and the body’s innate ability to heal and restore its own blueprint.

We inherit more than physical traits. Emotional patterns, stress responses, trauma imprints, and even tendencies toward certain illnesses can be passed down through generations and reflected in our energetic field.

 

This type of session is intended to support:
• Inherited emotional or behavioral patterns
• Generational trauma carried in the body
• Strengthening the body’s energetic blueprint
• Supporting healing around negative inherited genetics or disease predispositions

 

Reiki works here by bringing awareness and compassion to these inherited layers, allowing what no longer serves you to gently unwind. This does not erase family history — it helps you stop carrying what was never meant to be yours alone.

Trauma of Birth healing refers specifically to your own experience of being born, not the experience of giving birth.

Birth is the first major transition the body ever undergoes, and it leaves an energetic imprint on the nervous system. Even when there is no conscious memory, the body remembers.

 

This focus supports healing around experiences such as:
• Difficult or rushed births
• Emergency or medical interventions
• Feelings of shock, fear, or distress during birth
• Early separation from caregivers
• A sense of not feeling safe or welcomed into the world

These early imprints can influence how a person experiences safety, control, trust, and stress throughout life. Reiki offers a gentle, non-verbal way to support the nervous system in revisiting and softening these imprints without reliving them.

This treatment focus supports those experiencing symptoms such as:

Distance, In-Person, and Virtual Sessions

All Equally Effective

Energy is not bound by location. Distance and virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions and are ideal for those who feel more comfortable in their own space or cannot attend physically.

The same level of care, intention, and attunement is present in every format.
