About me
I’m Naomi, founder of Purple Phoenix Wellness.
I am passionate about self care and wellness for all, at every stage in life, which led me to get certified in several wellness modalities in the following areas: Reiki Master Teacher, a practitioner with the Canadian Reiki Association, a Meditation Teacher, a Grief Life Coach, a Compassionate Caregiver, and a Death Doula Candidate with Home Hospice Association. I am also a trained volunteer in palliative hospice care and grief peer support. Each of these paths has been chosen with purpose—and with love.
But this journey began long before the certifications.
It began with the heartbreak of loss.
As a child, I experienced losses and most notably the devastating death of my brother. That moment became a quiet ache that rippled through the years, shaping my soul in ways I didn't yet understand. It wasn’t until later in life—through my own healing, study, and spiritual awakening—that I began to fully feel the calling to help others through their own pain and transitions.
I believe that grief is sacred. That healing is possible.
And that none of us are meant to carry the weight of loss alone.
Purple Phoenix Wellness was born from this vision—to offer a sanctuary for healing, remembrance, and spiritual reconnection. Through Reiki energy healing, guided meditation, compassionate support, and the sacred honour of walking beside those nearing end-of-life, I help others reclaim light within the dark.
Whether you are navigating the heartbreak of losing someone you love, preparing for your own sacred life transition, or seeking reconnection with your soul’s voice—I am here, heart open, hands ready.
This work is not a profession. It is a promise.
To walk with you. To listen deeply. To honour every tear.
And to remind you: from ashes, we rise.
The Truth
"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy or unfulfilled. For it is only such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers." - M. Scott Peck
"Healers are hosts who patiently listen to the story of the suffering strangers." - Henri Nouwen
